About Me

I'm a strategic creative leader focused on Brand, Product, Marketing, and Design. I'm hands-on with experience from both agency service and brand product side which is a rare and valuable combination. I'm also an art appreciator and collector, and design enthusiast.

I have provided end-to-end experience with strategy and creative leadership for Credit Suisse, SunTrust, Nestle, Sotheby's, American Express, Nintendo, AOL, A&E Networks, Nickelodeon, Infusion, Strawberry Frog, Deepfocus, Digitas, and Wunderman. I'm a skilled manager and team leader with the ability to roll-up-my-sleeves, work within small and large budgets, drive the creative agenda at a strategic level, and deliver compelling propositions to the business. I ensure the team is at the forefront of innovative thinking when it comes to designing outstanding features, championing developments, inspiring new ideas across every aspect of the business, from experiences to end-to-end engagements of consumers and bringing the big idea to a new dimension and best-in-class user experience.

20 years of experience design

I am a recognized innovator and, as the Creative Director for Sotheby's global digital group reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer was part of the initial leadership team that created and reinvented Sotheby's digital solutions, such as the extraordinary catalogue app which still publishes close to 400 catalogues a year.

Before joining Sotheby's, I was Creative Director at Digitas, the renowned agency that pioneered many of the medium's best practices. In this role, I supervised a creative team building new verticals, web content, advertising and experiential marketing for American Express.

I am noted industry-wide for creative roles at both Nintendo and at Nickelodeon in New York where I created ground-breaking digital solutions and content. I helped led the creative charge for driving the birth of Nick.com, a creative endeavor that made it the number one kid's destination on the web, a distinction it still holds today and also earned a Webby for best TV Site.

A veteran of the early digital industry, I created CyberComics by Marvel in Summer 1996 as part of a promotional deal with America Online.

My wish is to combine my knowledge and expertise of consuming and creating memorable experiences to a startup company, major cross-media organization, or advertising firm in need of user experience and creative leadership.

My list of specialties include:

Creative Direction, Art Direction, Concept Design, Creative Strategy, Concept Development, Photo/Video Direction, Interactive Advertising, Experience Design, Corporate Branding, Mobile and Tablet Design, UX/UI, User Experience, and moving mountains.
